Getting the weather forecast into Google Sheets

Overview

Here we'll use the free MetaWeather API to get a weather forecast for the next 5+ days into Google Sheets, and use the SyncWith Addon to keep the forecast live automatically.

Step 1: Get the ID for the city or location

MetaWeather uses its own IDs, called the Where On Earth ID, or woeid for short. Punch in the city or location you're looking for to get its woeid.

Please fill in any necessary fields and click Run.

Step 2: Use the ID to get the forecast

Grab the woeid from above, fill it in below, and you can get the weather forecast, then click Get Google Sheet to get the forecast in Google Sheets with the SyncWith addon pre-installed to keep the forecast live automatically.
