If your Facebook Page report has a blank Impressions or Page fans column, nothing is wrong with your sheet. Meta took both out of the Page Insights API on November 15, 2025. Build the report on Views and Follows instead. You can fill it for free with Meta Business Suite’s export, or let SyncWith refresh it on a schedule.
Meta has cut Page Insights more than once. In March 2024 it deprecated 89 metrics, engaged users among them. In November 2025 it removed impressions and Page fans from every API version. Ask Meta’s API for a removed metric and you get an error. In a SyncWith report, Impressions and Fans come back blank. Here’s what to put in their place, from Meta’s list of deprecated metrics:
| What you knew it as | What Meta did | What to use now |
|---|---|---|
| Impressions | Removed November 15, 2025 | Views (page_media_view) |
| Paid impressions | Removed November 15, 2025 | Views from ads (page_media_view, split by is_from_ads) |
| Post impressions | Removed November 15, 2025 | Post views (post_media_view) |
| Page fans (Page likes) | Removed November 15, 2025 | Follows (page_follows) |
| New fans and unlikes | Removed November 15, 2025, with no replacement named | Daily follows and unfollows are still there (page_daily_follows_unique, page_daily_unfollows_unique) |
| Reach | Marked deprecated in Graph API versions after v25 | Unique views (page_total_media_view_unique) |
| Engaged users, consumptions | Removed March 14, 2024 | No direct replacement. Post engagements (page_post_engagements) counts reactions, comments, shares and more. |
Views count every time your content was played or displayed: posts, videos, stories and ads. It isn’t impressions with a new name, so a chart that runs across November 2025 can jump. Put a note on it before a client asks.
Meta’s own export costs nothing, and for one Page once a month it’s enough. Meta’s steps:
The catch is that you do this by hand, every month, for every Page.
Set up a SyncWith report once and the sheet fills itself from then on:
Your Facebook login needs permission to view the Page’s insights (Meta calls it the Analyze task). Two more rules come from Meta’s Page Insights docs: a Page needs 100 or more likes before it has any Page Insights data, and most metrics update once every 24 hours.
You probably don’t need a daily schedule. In the third quarter of 2026, 928 SyncWith reports pulled Facebook Page and Post Insights. Each one refreshed 7.5 times on average over the quarter. The average Facebook Ads report refreshed 102 times.
The free Hobby plan gives you 35 refreshes a month, and each report stops after 35 refreshes. A weekly Page report lasts about eight months. On a paid plan, from $24.99 a month, reports don’t expire and there’s no limit on how many you run, so every client Page can get its own. See the plans.
Keep the data on one tab and the report on another. Make the Data tab one row per day, per Page:
Data tab columns: A Date, B Page, C Views, D Follows, E New follows, F Unfollows, G Post engagements.
On the Report tab, type the first day of the month in B1 (for example 10/1/2026) and the Page name in B2. Then add these formulas:
| Cell | What it shows | Formula |
|---|---|---|
| B4 | Views this month | =SUMIFS(Data!C:C, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, ">="&$B$1, Data!A:A, "<="&EOMONTH($B$1, 0)) |
| C4 | Views last month | =SUMIFS(Data!C:C, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, ">="&EDATE($B$1, -1), Data!A:A, "<="&EOMONTH($B$1, -1)) |
| B5 | Followers at the end of the month | =SUMIFS(Data!D:D, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, MAXIFS(Data!A:A, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, "<="&EOMONTH($B$1, 0))) |
| B6 | Net new followers this month | =SUMIFS(Data!E:E, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, ">="&$B$1, Data!A:A, "<="&EOMONTH($B$1, 0)) - SUMIFS(Data!F:F, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, ">="&$B$1, Data!A:A, "<="&EOMONTH($B$1, 0)) |
| B7 | Post engagements this month | =SUMIFS(Data!G:G, Data!B:B, $B$2, Data!A:A, ">="&$B$1, Data!A:A, "<="&EOMONTH($B$1, 0)) |
| B8 | Engagements per 1,000 views | =IFERROR(B7 / B4 * 1000, 0) |
Follows. Each day’s row holds the total number of followers that day, so adding up a month of rows gives you about 30 times your follower count. B5 takes the month’s last day instead. For growth, add up new follows and subtract unfollows (B6).
Unique views. They count a person once per day, so someone who saw your posts on five days is in five daily numbers. Don’t add them up for the month. Report Views, which do add up.
Meta’s API only goes back two years, so copy each finished month into a History tab (Paste special, then Values only). Next October, you’ll want last October.
Yes, through the sheet above. Google’s own Looker Studio connectors don’t include Facebook Pages, so a Facebook Page needs a third-party connector. You don’t need one if you already have the sheet: add the Google Sheet as a data source in Looker Studio and build your charts on the Data tab. (Google renamed Looker Studio to Data Studio in April 2026, so that’s the name you’ll see.)
If you also run ads for the same Page, our Meta Ads reporting guide covers the paid side.
