How do I connect Pinterest Ads to Google Sheets?

Five steps, and you only do them once. After that, the report refreshes itself.

  1. Install the SyncWith add-on in Google Sheets.
  2. Connect Pinterest Ads with the Pinterest login that can see your ad account, then pick the account. One report can cover several ad accounts, handy if you run Pinterest for more than one client.
  3. Add dimensions such as Date, Campaign name and Ad group ID.
  4. Add metrics such as Spend, Paid Impressions, Paid Pin clicks, Paid outbound clicks and Paid saves, plus the earned version of each if you want it.
  5. Set the report to refresh hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.

Without SyncWith, you click Export above the reporting table in Ads Manager. You get a CSV, and you have to import it again every time you want fresh numbers.

What's the difference between paid and earned Pinterest results?

A promoted Pin keeps working after people save it to their boards. Pinterest counts what happens on those saved copies as earned activity, and doesn't bill you for it. Our connector keeps the two apart: Earned impressions, Earned Pin clicks and Earned saves get their own columns, next to the paid ones.

Divide Spend by paid clicks only. Mix the earned ones in and your cost per click looks better than it is. The earned columns are the bonus: reach on top of what you paid for.

Can I do this on the free plan?

Yes. Three reports fit in the free plan's 35 refreshes a month. That's because in Q3 2026, the average active Pinterest Ads report on SyncWith refreshed about 11 times a month, roughly once every three days. Each free report expires after 35 refreshes, which takes about three months. Need more than three? Business is $24.99 a month for 100 refreshes, enough for about nine reports at the same pace, and paid reports never expire. See all plans.
