Getting detailed weather for a specific date into Google Sheets

Overview

Here we'll use the free MetaWeather API to get detailed weather data for a specific date and location.

Step 1: Get the ID for the city or location

MetaWeather uses its own IDs, called the Where On Earth ID, or woeid for short. Punch in the city or location you're looking for to get its woeid.

Please fill in any necessary fields and click Run.

Step 2: Use the ID to get the weather data

Grab the woeid from above, fill it in below, and you can get the weather data, then click Get Google Sheet to get the data in Google Sheets with the SyncWith addon pre-installed to keep the data live automatically.
