Supermetrics alternative

Looking for a cheaper Supermetrics alternative?

Supermetrics’ Starter and Growth plans cap the client accounts you can connect on each data source, so your bill grows with your client list. Our paid plans don’t count clients at all. You pay for how often your reports refresh, from $24.99 a month, and you can start free on Hobby. For a freelancer reporting three sources daily for 10 clients, that’s $499.99 a year with us against $2,124 or more on Supermetrics.

What 10 clients cost on each

People start looking when the bill jumps. One user on r/PPC wrote in May 2026 that “Supermetrics is telling us we need to ‘upgrade’ from our legacy google sheets plan at $1200/year to a custom plan that’s over $10K/year”. That’s more than eight times the old bill. Our co-founder Alex Black thinks price is the main reason agencies leave Supermetrics, too. So here’s one freelancer’s setup, priced on both tools at today’s prices.

Say you work alone and report Facebook Ads, Google Ads and GA4 for 10 clients, each in their own Google Sheet, refreshed daily. Daily is the most common SyncWith schedule: in Q3 2026, 23,672 of the 42,397 active SyncWith reports with a schedule (55.8%) were set to refresh daily.

On Supermetrics, your client count picks the plan. Starter allows 3 accounts per data source and lists no extra accounts, so 10 clients don’t fit. Growth allows 7 and lists extra accounts, up to 15 in total. Growth costs $2,124 a year billed yearly ($177 a month), or $2,664 billed monthly, before the extra accounts 10 clients need.

On SyncWith, your refreshes pick the plan. One report per client per source is 30 reports. Run daily, that’s at most 930 refreshes a month, which fits Business+ (1,000 a month) at $499.99 a year, or $49.99 billed monthly. That’s less than a quarter of Growth’s starting price.

Why SyncWith fits client reporting

You never buy a data source. Every connector we make comes with every paid plan, so when a client asks you to add Shopify or Search Console to their report, you add it. The new report just uses more of your refreshes.

Your AI chat runs on the same plan. The SyncWith MCP server lets Claude and ChatGPT read your SyncWith data (read-only), so you can ask about a client’s spend without opening the report. It has no separate price: each live question uses one refresh from your plan. On Supermetrics, your plan’s 1 core destination comes from one list, and ChatGPT and Claude are on it, so Google Sheets plus an AI chat means paying for a second destination. If your clients see dashboards rather than sheets, we connect to Looker Studio too, on its own plan ($24.99 a month, with a 14-day free trial).

What moving from Supermetrics takes

An agency asking on r/PPC put it simply: “Was the transition smooth?” Smooth means no client ever sees a broken report. You rebuild each report in SyncWith, so move one client at a time and keep Supermetrics running while you do.

  1. Install the SyncWith add-on and build one client’s report on the free Hobby plan: connect the login, pick the accounts, fields and date range, and set the schedule.
  2. Load past data to compare against. Set the date range to the last 180 days, run it once, then shorten it to the last 2 days and switch the schedule to daily.
  3. Check the numbers against the ad platform for one period. Tools name some fields differently (cost in one, spend in another), so match the columns your formulas read.
  4. Point your sheet formulas or Looker Studio charts at the new data.
  5. Pick a paid plan, move the other clients the same way, and cancel Supermetrics once the last report runs on SyncWith.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Supermetrics cost?
Supermetrics’ US pricing page lists Starter at $44 a month billed yearly or $55 billed monthly, Growth at $177 or $222, and Enterprise by quote. Growth also lists paid extras for destinations, users, data sources and accounts, so what you pay depends on how many clients you connect.
Is Supermetrics an ETL tool?
It can be. ETL means copying data into a warehouse first, and Supermetrics’ pricing page lists warehouse destinations like BigQuery and Snowflake on its Enterprise plan. SyncWith isn’t one: it puts your data straight into the client report itself, in Google Sheets or Looker Studio.
Can SyncWith report on all my clients’ ad accounts?
Yes. SyncWith can report on any number of ad accounts, from any number of logins, in one report or separately. To pull every account a login can see into one report (say, to compare spend by account across clients), pick All accounts within that login.
How does SyncWith count refreshes?
One refresh each time a report runs, so a daily report uses up to 31 a month and a weekly one about 5. There’s no limit on how many reports you build. You pick a plan by the total refreshes they use.
